Wild Boar Management and Advisory Service
For Landowners, Management Groups or Conservation Trusts
Wild boar are now increasingly established in different areas across Scotland. While this offers
new sporting opportunities to landowners, boar can also cause significant damage – and this
species is notoriously difficult to control. Fraser has had more than ten years experience
managing and controlling Wild boar and feral pigs in the Lochaber area. His expertise is such
that he has been called upon to offer advice for the Forestry Commission and Scottish Natural
Heritage and has done presentations for local Deer Management Groups and for the Scottish
Gamekeepers’ Association.
Whether you are looking to control an existing population, dramatically reduce numbers, or
wanting to stop Boar getting established in an area I can help, offering shooting advice for
sporting owners to trapping methods and trap design for control programmes, all based on
extensive and successful personal experience.
